About Flourish

Wellbeing

At Flourish Therapies we believe that our emotional wellbeing is as important as our physical wellbeing. We ALL have mental health, and over the duration of our lives many of us can experience symptoms of poor mental health and wellbeing. Mental Health difficulties can present differently for people, such as experiencing of low mood, depression, anxiety, trauma, difficulty adjusting to life events and developmental disorders.

Person-Centred

In recent years, mental health needs are being more widely discussed particularly in relation to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Flourish Therapies was borne from the acknowledgement that there is a local need for easier access to individualised psychology services, at a time when people need them the most.

Furthermore, a person-centred approach recognises that people use mental health and wellbeing services in different ways. It is with this in mind that Flourish Therapies hopes to offer a range of services, delivered in modalities that suit the needs of those using the service. The practice is evolving and welcomes any feedback, regarding what the service might be doing right and how it could improve.
